Creativity in Careers – How to get paid for those Theater Skills?

Jamie is an Emmy award-winning television producer and writer. She is currently a producer for NBC Chicago’s new lifestyle show, “Chicago Today”. Jamie graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a degree in radio/TV. She was a radio news anchor before she discovered her passion for working behind the TV camera. She worked as a senior news producer at WSIL-TV in Carterville, then moved to Chicago where she became the morning show EP for a 6-hour show on CLTV. She also produced for WGN before she moved to NBC Chicago in 2012.  In her free time, she enjoys being mom to 2 wonderful children, reading, baking and spending time with family and friends!

A Sports Anchor for WBBM and a  native of Joliet, Rick Gregg attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and began his professional radio career at WJPF in Carterville, Illinois. There, he handled morning drive news, pregame/postgame/halftime duties for SIU football and basketball, and a whole lot of high school play by play.

Rick then moved to Chicago, where he served many stations in the midwest as a news, sports and traffic anchor before joining WBBM in the spring of 2010. Here, he’s covered all of Chicago’s major sports teams, most notably anchoring coverage of the Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup win and the Cubs’ trip to the NLCS in 2015.

He also won the Illinois Associated Press “Best Sports Reporting” honor in 2016.  Rick and his wife, Jamie, reside in Romeoville. They are incredibly proud of their two children, Jacob and Lauren.

Suzie has to be quick on the draw, specializes in unscripted show productions such as Steve Harvey, Windy City Live, Judge Mathis, Judge Pirro, Judge Joe Brown. Emmy winning and nominated. She has worked with Walt Disney Television, CBS,, did casting for Chicagolicious, and loves her freelance career.
