Past College Interns


John Beyer

Public Relations – John graduated from the University of Iowa, where he studied political science and pre-law. He attends Valparaiso Law school and works for Beyer Law in La Grange.  John is a history buff and active in the political process when possible.

  Arielle Davenport

Graphic Arts/Web Design – Arielle focuses her attention on advertisement creation, playbill development, website design and other projects.  Arielle attends DePaul majoring in Computer Science and hopes to eventually achieve her Masters in Graphic Design. She admires the LATTE mission of assisting and empowering teenagers.

Nick Edinger

Sound Creation/Workshop Presenter – Nick attends the University of Iowa. A junior, he is majoring in English and pursuing a creative writing track.  A LATTE alumni, Nick is also part of No Shame Theatre, a comedy improv troupe on U of Iowa’s campus. Nick works summers at Fenwick High School, teaching kids to swim. He loves writing and blasting good music from the car stereo when he drives.

Alyssa Pfluger

Public Relations/Social Media/Troupe Mentor/Workshop Presenter – Attending Valparaiso University’s Christ Honor’s College, Alyssa, a junior and is currently pursuing a double major in Communications Public Relations and Humanities/Pre Law and a double minor in Environmental Sciences and the Fundamentals of Business. She is President of Earthtones, Valpo’s environmental sustainability club, part of the Honor’s Council, an Honor’s Council Investigator,  a reporter for the Valpo Torch newspaper, and on Wernberg House Council.

Alyssa loves making a difference in the lives of teens and rallies the teens as the troupe mentor. She assists with LATTE’s marketing and public relations and drafts, publishes, and manages social media content, including this website. Alyssa ran TIP, Theater in Practice, for ages 4-12 and has been a part of LATTE Theater for 10 years. She’s taken part in the Brookfield Zoo’s Science Tracks, and internships in the Field Museum’s Environment, Culture, and Conservation (ECCo) department as well as with the Alliance for Water Efficiency, and Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.



If you are interested in a college internship with LATTE, email us at Candidates must have a strong work ethic,  strong analytical and problem solving skills, a positive attitude and a dedication to detail. They must be comfortable working with deadlines,  and have and develop upon diverse communication skills. Candidates must hold a drive to succeed, and a willingness to develop themselves. Also, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Basic knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office products are essential. LATTE believes that internships are a two way street that should focus on benefiting interns as much as they benefit LATTE.
